Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for clinics looking at Total Script. If you need something that is not here, book a call or email juan@totalscriptsolutions.com.

What is Total Script Solutions?

Total Script is the clinic desk for a network of licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies. We connect licensed clinics and telehealth companies with named patient weight-loss compounding. One team. Coverage in all 50 states.

Are you a pharmacy?

No. Total Script is not a 503A compounding pharmacy or a 503B outsourcing facility. We do not compound, dispense, or practice medicine. Named patient prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. partner pharmacies.

Who can open an account?

Licensed clinics, physician offices, telehealth companies, pharmacies, and other permitted healthcare businesses. NPI verification is what we need to open a clinic account. Catalog terms are clinic specific and are not an offer to the general public.

How do I get started?

Book 15 minutes. We learn how you order today, then we handle onboarding. Most clinics place a first order within 48 hours. You do not have to commit on the call.

How does an order travel from the clinic to the patient?

The clinic places the order in the portal. We route it to a licensed U.S. partner pharmacy. The pharmacy compounds or fills it, then ships to the clinic or the named patient. You can follow submitted, filled, shipped, and delivered without faxes or phone tag.

What do you source?

Named patient weight-loss compounds from licensed U.S. 503A pharmacies — GLP-1 and related protocols your providers write.

Are compounded medications FDA approved?

No. Compounded medications are prepared by registered U.S. pharmacies and are subject to quality and purity standards, but they are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, quality, or efficacy. They are not equivalent to FDA approved branded products.

Which states do you cover?

Partner pharmacies in our network support fulfillment across all 50 states, subject to each pharmacy’s licensure and the prescriber’s authority in the patient’s state.

How is patient information handled?

Patient information is collected only as needed to fill a named patient prescription. We do not sell PHI. Access is limited to staff who need it to operate the Service and to the pharmacies that fulfill the orders a clinic submits. See our Privacy Policy for HIPAA rights and how to contact us.

How do payments work?

There is no subscription required to book a call. Product and fulfillment charges are billed per transaction or as agreed for your account. Card payments are processed by a PCI DSS compliant processor. We do not store full card numbers.

Can prescription products be returned?

Generally no. Prescription products cannot be returned for reuse or resale. If you believe an order was filled in error, contact us with the order number and we will coordinate with the filling pharmacy.

How do I contact you?

Email or call the team, or use the form on the homepage. Someone typically replies within one business day.
